While it is impossible to credit each fantastic Buffy writer/director/producer, etc. on this one website, I find it appropriate to kudos the two peeps featured below. Joss is, of course, the man and there would be no show without him; Marti is one of the longest-serving staffers on the show and thoroughly deserves her 'executive producer' title. Marti Noxon
Quick background; She who wowed us as The Parking Ticket Lady says she is most like Buffy out of all the characters. She is married and recently gave birth to her first child not long ago. Marti's dad was a documentary film maker and she got into spec writing, knowing she wanted to do something film-related. Buff is her first big gig...

Apparently, Marti wrote many seriously depressing plays revolving around suicide and miserableness before landing the job on Buffy, her first big break. As like many Buffy writers, she's part of the Angel team and co-wrote the episode entitled She. Now the lady has signed a contract that will allow her to come up with ideas for new shows for Fox post-Buffy...
